Dutch Museum Displays Complete Van Gogh Collection for First Time in Decades

Amsterdam, September 15, 2026 : The Kröller-Müller Museum in the Netherlands has put its complete collection of 88 paintings by Vincent van Gogh on display for the first time since 1984.

The exhibition, titled “Van Gogh, All Our Paintings,” brings together works from the museum’s collection, many of which were acquired between 1908 and 1930. The museum holds one of the world’s largest collections of works by the celebrated Dutch artist, although the paintings are rarely exhibited together.

According to the museum, the exhibition will run through January 3, 2027, and is among the largest Van Gogh exhibitions of the 21st century.

The collection includes some of Van Gogh’s best-known works, including “The Potato Eaters” (1885), which depicts peasant life, as well as “Cafe Terrace at Night” (1888) and “The Old Church Tower at Nuenen” (1884).

Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) is widely regarded as one of the leading figures of Post-Impressionism and remains among the most influential and recognized artists in art history.

During his relatively short artistic career, Van Gogh produced around 900 paintings, including his celebrated “Sunflowers” series and numerous self-portraits.
