Doha: Middle East's Leading City & Sports Tourism 2023 – World Travel Awards

The most notable travel, tourism, and hospitality brands in the Middle East were honored at a grand gala held at Atlantis The Royal, Dubai. Esteemed figures from the tourism industry gathered at Dubai's latest resort for an evening of celebration, marking the winners of the prestigious World Travel Awards 2023.

The standout achievers at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Middle East Gala Ceremony 2023, held in a glamorous setting, included Dubai, clinching titles for both the Middle East’s Leading Destination and the Middle East’s Leading Tourist Board.

Doha celebrated a remarkable night, earning prestigious titles for the Middle East’s Leading City Destination and the Middle East’s Leading Sports Tourism Destination. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi was recognized as the ‘Middle East’s Leading Business Travel Destination.

Graham Cooke, the Founder of WTA, commented:

“It has been a privilege to host our 30th anniversary celebrations at Atlantis The Royal, Dubai for an incredible evening that will last long in everyone’s memory. In the aviation industry, notable victors included Qatar Airways, awarded the title of Middle East’s Leading Airline.

Among the newcomers, Raffles Doha was honored as the Middle East’s Leading New Hotel.
