Desert Trails Races Series 2025

The Qatar Sports for All Federation announced Monday the 2025 Desert Trails Races Series 2025 calendar, which includes five challenges: Al Zubarah Challenge, Fuwairit Race, Sealine Race, Al Wakra Race, and Al Khor Race.

The series of races will start on January 31 with the Fuwairit Race, followed by the Sealine Race on February 15, while the Al Zubarah Race will be held on April 19, Al Wakra Race on October 25, and Al Khor Race on December 27, 2025.

Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation Abdullah Al Dosari, confirmed during a press conference held at Lusail Sports Hall that the 2025 Desert Trails Running Series is an extension of the successful editions that were held last year through four races that helped spread awareness of the importance of practicing sports.

Al Dosari noted that choosing natural wild places provides participants with the opportunity to enjoy nature and learn more about the landmarks in the State of Qatar, which helps to have a unique experience that combines challenge and adventure.

He explained that the desert race series includes many distinctive areas in Qatar, such as Fuwairit, Zubarah, Sealine, and Al Wakra, and this year is distinguished by the inclusion of the Al Khor Race, adding: The coming days will witness cooperation with the Tourism Authority to participate in the Sealine season, by holding three tournaments, including beach football, volleyball and badminton, with the aim of attracting the largest number of participants, to enjoy the winter season, in the Sealine area, and to further activate the role of sports for all.
