Department of Meteorology Warns of Thundery Rain Associated With Strong Wind and High Sea

Weather inshore until 6 p.m. on Tuesday will be hazy to misty at places at first becomes relatively hot daytime and partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of rain at places at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.

Offshore will be partly cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at places, the report added, warning of thundery rain at places associated with sudden strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be variable less than 05 knot at first becomes mainly northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot.

Offshore, it will be mainly northeasterly to southeasterly 03 to 13 knot, gusting to 22 knot with thundery rain.

Visibility will be 4 to 9/3 kilometer or less at places at first.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 4 feet at times, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 7 feet with thundery rain.
