Qatar Museums is actively participating in Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha through the Dadu Museum, featuring special events like Dadu Gardens Adventures. These experiences, available from Thursday to Saturday, are designed to strengthen family bonds and provide opportunities for shared exploration.
In collaboration with Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Museums have curated a diverse array of activities that aim to inspire children aged 12 and under to discover the world around them. Children can take part in hands-on activities, such as creating art from natural materials, delving into the ecosystem of worms, and exploring the basics of gardening and recycling. Carefully crafted by Qatar Museums, these experiences align with the overarching theme of Expo 2023 Doha, "Green Desert, Better Environment." They subtly incorporate sustainability, well-being, and technology, offering visitors a contemplative environment.
The Dadu Garden, resembling a dynamic living classroom utilizing nature-based interactive activities, fosters the physical, social, and emotional development of children. Spanning 14,500 square meters, it provides a learning space at Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha where both children and families can discover valuable knowledge on nutrition, health, environmental science, and the local ecosystem by actively participating in the cultivation of important regional fruits and herbs.
The Expo stands as a central hub for various Qatari cultural and educational institutions. With attractions like the renowned Museum of Islamic Art and the highly anticipated Lusail Museum, visitors have the opportunity to delve into a rich tapestry of information and heritage.
