Camping Season in Qatar Extended Until May 20

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change decided to extend the camping season until next May 20 instead of April 4, as was previously scheduled.

Mr. Saleh Hassan Al Kuwari, Director of the Natural Reserves Department at the Ministry, confirmed that the camping season will continue until after the blessed Eid Al Fitr, with the aim of providing a greater opportunity for citizens to enjoy the wilderness, in light of the remarkable improvement in the weather.

The Ministry had identified 34 sites for the winter camping season distributed over various regions and it developed a new mechanism for those applying to this season. The application requires an initial submission of camping applications during the period extended from 3-10 of October, along with the completion of the required data and information and the signing of a pledge to abide by the terms and conditions.
