DOHA: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has launched the “Meshka” digital services application, a unified online platform designed to give the public easier access to a wide range of religious and guidance services.

The new application is part of the Ministry’s ongoing digital transformation efforts and aims to provide users with a modern, convenient and user-friendly way to access essential services.

More Than 50 Services Available Online

According to the Ministry, Meshka brings together more than 50 digital services covering several key areas of its operations.

These include:

Mosque services
Dawah and religious guidance
Hajj and Umrah services
Holy Qur’an competitions

The unified platform is intended to simplify procedures by bringing different services and related information together in one place.

Supporting Qatar National Vision 2030

The Ministry said the launch supports its strategic plan and contributes to the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly the development of a stronger and more innovative government sector capable of using digital solutions to better serve the community.

The application also aims to increase public awareness of the Ministry’s digital services by providing clear information about available services and how to use them.

Find Nearby Mosques Through Interactive Maps

Meshka offers enhanced services for mosque users, allowing them to locate nearby mosques through interactive maps.

Users can access information about individual mosques, including available facilities and related services, making it easier to identify suitable prayer facilities and access relevant information.

Virtual Training for Qur’an Competitions

The application also supports participants in Qur’anic competitions through a virtual training and examination environment.

Students can use the platform to participate and practise in simulations designed to resemble actual examinations, helping them prepare more effectively for official tests.

Access Religious Guidance and Awareness Services

For religious outreach and guidance, Meshka provides users with access to religious awareness materials, licensed Qur’anic healers and religious inquiries.

The service is designed to strengthen access to trusted religious guidance while supporting the Ministry’s role in promoting sound religious awareness within the community.

Hajj and Umrah Services Made Easier

The application also provides digital services for people planning to perform Hajj and Umrah.

Users can complete registration procedures, follow up on applications and access regulatory instructions. The platform also provides relevant preventive and health guidance for pilgrims preparing to perform the religious rites.

Integrated and Secure Digital Platform

The Ministry said Meshka uses an integrated technological structure connecting multiple systems to enable smooth data exchange and timely updates.

The platform has also been designed with personal data protection and security safeguards, helping ensure that users can access services through a safe and reliable digital environment.

The launch of Meshka represents another step in Qatar's digital transformation efforts, bringing a broad range of religious and guidance services together through a single online platform.
