Asian Cup celebratory tour in Qatar and region starts on Dec 21

With less than a month remaining until the starting whistle for the first match of the tournament, the local organising committee of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 announced the launch of a celebratory tour in Qatar and the region from December 21 to 31.

The tour will witness the establishment of event areas for the Asian Cup in selected locations in Qatar (the host country), Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, allowing fans to learn more information about the sporting event, and take souvenir photos with the tournament trophy, and with members of the 'Sabouq' family, the official mascot. They will also have an opportunity to win souvenirs from exclusive products bearing the continental championship logo.

The events will take place in Qatar at City Center Doha and Mall of Qatar, in Saudi Arabia at Riyadh City Boulevard and Dhahran Mall, and in the UAE at the Global Village in Dubai, in addition to Al Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi.

More details about the celebratory tour will be announced through the 2023 Asian Cup Qatar accounts on social media channels.

Qatar is preparing to host the Asian Cup for the third time after its success in organising the 1988 and 2011 editions. In the next edition of the tournament, 24 of the best teams in Asia will compete to win the title, which will witness 51 matches held in nine stadiums, from January 12 to February 10, 2024.
