Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Director of the Media Development Department at Qatar Media Corporation (QMC), paid tribute to Al Jazeera correspondent in Gaza, Wael Al Dahdouh. He expressed condolences for the tragic loss of Al Dahdouh's wife, two sons, daughter, and grandson, who were martyred. Sheikh Khalid also conveyed his support and solidarity, assuring that all necessary assistance would be provided to the family.

While acknowledging Al Dahdouh's exceptional work and courage, especially during the media coverage of the Gaza aggression, Sheikh Khalid praised the sacrifices made by journalists in Gaza. He highlighted the significant global impact of their efforts in revealing the truth and documenting the consequences of the aggression on the people of Gaza, despite the risks faced by journalists.

Sheikh Khalid emphasized the resilience of journalists working under the challenges of siege and aggression in Gaza.

Al Dahdouh expressed gratitude for Sheikh Khalid's support and affirmed his commitment to professionalism. Despite his injury, he stated his determination to return to the field for coverage after completing medical treatment.
