Google has issued a stark warning over the rapid rise of AI-driven cyberattacks, revealing that hackers are now using advanced language models to discover previously unknown software vulnerabilities and develop malicious code at unprecedented speed.

In a new security report, Google said it had identified the first known case of cybercriminals leveraging artificial intelligence to uncover a zero-day flaw in a widely used open-source systems management tool. The attack was intercepted before it could trigger mass exploitation.
