8th Turkish-Arab Art Forum opens in Istanbul

The 8th Turkish-Arab Art Forum has opened in Istanbul, bringing together artists from Türkiye and a number of Arab countries for an exhibition of paintings and fine art alongside cultural and artistic events.

Organised by the Turkish-Arab Art House and the Arab House of Arts, with the support of the Turkish-Arab Association, the forum aims to strengthen cultural and artistic ties between Turkish and Arab creatives and to promote their work across both regions. 

The exhibition features a wide range of works spanning different styles and themes, reflecting the diversity of the participating artists.

Speaking at previous editions, organisers have said the forum seeks to unite Turkish and Arab artists in the fields of culture and the arts, foster creative collaboration between the two worlds, and give Arab artists a platform to present their work in Türkiye. 

The forum has grown into an annual fixture on Istanbul's cultural calendar since its launch, with earlier editions drawing dozens of Turkish and Arab artists and highlighting causes and themes of shared regional significance.
