8th Aspire Academy Global Summit Starts Monday

The activities of the 8th edition of the Aspire Academy Global Summit for Football Performance and Science start Monday, less than 50 days before the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in cooperation with the International Football Association (FIFA) and the participation of representatives from the 32 qualified teams for the 2022 World Cup.

A group of former football players stars will participate in the star chat, in addition to the French coach Arsene Wenger, former England football player David Beckham, former French football player Youri Raffi Djorkaeff, former Argentine football player Juan Sebastian Veron, English-American football coach Jillian Anne Ellis.

French coach Arsene Wenger will open the summit with an educational lesson in which he talks about his long experience and shares the vision he gained from his distinguished career as an expert in football.

The summit will witness the participation of representatives from the technical staff of the 32 national teams qualified for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in addition to members of the Aspire Fellows community around the world representing more than 50 clubs and national federations.

This year's edition includes the following topics on its agenda: Leveraging Analytics to Improve Player Performance, Preparing Players and Teams for Competitions, and Optimizing Recovery Strategies.

Commenting on the summit, the head of the event at Aspire logistics, Al Anood Al Misnad, said that Aspire Academy is pleased to host this distinguished summit annually since 2014 to discuss a number of issues related to the development of football performance. He expressed happiness for hosting the summit in cooperation with FIFA this year and the participation of the qualified teams for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
