44thWorld Military Parachuting Championships
The Joint Special Forces organizes the 2021 World Military Parachuting Championship (WMPC), with the International Military Sports Council (CISM) in its 44th session, which will start on Thursday in Doha, with the participation of 40 countries.
The opening ceremony will be held at the Joint Special Forces camp, then the championship competitions will move to Umm Al Shokhot Airfield and continue until November 29.
Qatar team is considered the second best team in the world in the CISM tournaments, for several years, as Qatar has been a member of CISM since 2001 and has constantly participated in international tournaments effectively and efficiently.
Qatar won the honor of hosting the WMPC organized by the CISM and under the auspices of the Qatar Air Sports Committee with the Joint Special Forces, as a result of the fruits of the unlimited support and full care given to the sport by the wise leadership.
Qatar hosted last February, the first Qatar International Open Parachuting Championship with the participation of 8 countries in the Sealine, which is a preparation for the tournament currently being hosted by Qatar.
