Aspetar International Rehabilitation Conference
The Aspetar International Rehabilitation Conference, a prominent event in sports medicine, officially launched today at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
Themed "Comprehensive Guide to Thigh Muscle Injuries," this years conference, attracted a record-breaking attendance of over 700 experts and participants from 90 countries, making it one of the most diverse and inclusive events in the field.
In his opening speech, Acting Director General of Aspetar, Khaled Ali Al Mawlawi stated, "Qatar has established itself as a global center for sports and sports medicine. This conference, which brings together renowned global experts to explore thigh muscle injuries, further enhances Aspetars leadership in developing rehabilitation practices." For his part, Director of Marketing and Communication at Aspetar Khalid Al Naama told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the conference presents valuable insights in the field of rehabilitation, pointing to Aspetar's efforts to provide more research in this regard.
Al Naama added: Without a doubt, we will work to use all the topics that were raised in order to improve the performance of our athletes and achieve a better level of performance.
He pointed out that Aspetar focuses greatly on many aspects in the field of rehabilitation in order to maintain its great position as a distinguished medical and global complex.
Dr. Jonathan Power, Liverpool FCs Doctor said that all participants in the conference appreciate the value of the efforts and projects provided by Aspetar Hospital in terms of developing the rehabilitation system for injuries, adding that the global standards it adheres to inspire everyone.
The two-day conference features 32 international speakers from 12 countries, providing an unparalleled platform for knowledge exchange and professional development in sports medicine and rehabilitation. The events global appeal is evident in its diverse list of participants, including representatives from major football clubs, international sports federations, and prestigious academic institutions.
The conference includes several scientific sessions discussing various aspects related to thigh injuries, with presentations from global experts in interactive panel discussions. Preceding the main event, specialized workshops were held at Aspetar Hospital for elite Arab and international clubs.
