Severe Weather Claims Life of Pediatric Doctor at Sealine Beach.

Tragic circumstances unfolded on Monday evening as harsh weather conditions led to the untimely death of a pediatric doctor at Hamad General Hospital situated in Sealine Beach.

Dr. Majid Sulaiman Al-Shannour Al-Nouami, a distinguished pediatric specialist within the obstetrics and gynecology department at Hamad General Hospital, tragically lost his life yesterday, succumbing to the extreme weather conditions while at Sealine Beach. The Syrian Medical Association in Qatar (SMAQ) shared this heartbreaking news on its Facebook page as it mourned the loss of the esteemed doctor.

The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) had issued continuous warnings of thundery rain across the nation, prompting the Ministry of Interior (MoI) to advise the public to refrain from all sea and coastal area activities.

Furthermore, the weather department cautioned that from yesterday, April 15, until Wednesday, April 17, the country would experience cloudy conditions with a potential for thunderstorms in the evening. Strong winds exceeding 50 knots were also forecasted, alongside the possibility of hail.
