Lusail Boulevard was a sight to behold yesterday as it became a runway for 100 luxurious dream cars along its 1.3-kilometre expanse.

This magnificent car parade, aptly named the “Parade of Excellence,” was a highlighted event in the ongoing Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) Qatar, set to wrap up on October 14.

The procession was more than just a car showcase; it was a celebration of automotive history and culture. It offered spectators a range of visual treats, from cutting-edge contemporary models to vintage classics that have withstood the test of time. Notable mentions include the iconic 1964 Ford Chevy, the powerful Dodge Charger R/T, the revered Mustang Shelby GT 500, and the classic 1964 Mercedes-Benz SR4, among others.

The event, a fruitful collaboration between the Sealine Circuit Sports Club - Mawater and Elite Supercars, was part of the “Urban Playground” festivity taking place this weekend at Lusail Boulevard. This festivity is filled with music, DJ sets, and enlightening talks at the central stage at Lusail Plaza Towers.

Salem Al Muhannadi, Head of the Sealine Circuit Sports Club - Mawater, shared, “The Urban Playground aims to infuse GIMS Qatar's vibrant energy into one of Qatar's most renowned landmarks." The weekend celebration at Lusail Boulevard is open to all, with free entrance from 5pm to 10pm. The Auto-Life Village, another feature of the weekend, promises an immersive experience with food, shopping, and family activities. Visitors are encouraged to join and revel in this unique celebration of automotive excellence.
