A post shared on the X Platform by Aviation Expert Alex Macheras on October 23, 2023, disclosed that H.E. Akbar Al Baker will be resigning from his role as CEO of Qatar Airways Group.

Alex Macheras noted that this change is set to take effect on November 5, 2023.

Furthermore, it was noted that when speaking to the staff, H.E. Akbar Al Baker made the following statement:
